"As a recent import to the States from England, the traditions surrounding Thanksgiving are all new to me. I have heard tales of Pilgrim Fathers, pumpkin pies and deep fried turkeys, but as yet have not experienced a true Thanksgiving. So I set out to learn about the holiday so deeply rooted in American history. And as it turns out, the whole shebang started in jolly old England nearly half a century ago.
